Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. As a law and policy consulting firm, we want to provide you as a prospective client with the information required to understand how our services may assist you with your project or problem. 

At present, our web site is still under construction.  At this point, we can inform you that:

--We have been providing law and policy services since 1982 to selected clients with successful results in solving difficult problems and accomplishing challenging projects in the face of opposition from powerful political and economic interests.

--Our clients are typically government agencies, non-profit corporations, ad hoc community groups, and/or their current legal counsel.   Past and present clients have included such organizations and groups as Vermont Office of Public Counsel, Wisconsin Citizens Utility Board, Citizens Action Coalition of Indiana, Hoosier Environmental Council, Save the Valley, Citizens for Appropriate Rural Development, Citizens Against the Pit, and Citizens for Safety. 

--Our services include consultation with clients and their counsel, preparation and presentation of expert testimony to courts, administrative agencies, and legislative bodies on behalf of clients in cooperation with their counsel, and performance of law and policy research and writing assignments on behalf of clients at the direction of their counsel. 

--Our specialized expertise extends primarily to the following areas of law and policy:  energy, utilities, environment, and land use.  We are especially knowledgeable and experienced with respect to matters involving the economic and environmental regulation of public utilities and nuclear waste law and policy.
